The Night Of and the US elections

As if HBO's The Night Of needed a reason to get more credit for what it has achieved..

I am a compulsive series fanatic, I have seen it all.. and am at awe at the level of impatience and curiosity this masterpiece has created in my weekly routine. I am also following the US election (from Spain) and cannot help but wonder how much credit will The Night Of deserve for helping the democrats win this thing. This is a story Republican Trump supporters are going to relate to. Crime, murder, allegedly committed by the kind of stereotyped individual they blame for all their problems, but seen from his perspective.. and under Trump supporters premise of society's alarming level of crime and insecurity.

This thing couldn't have come at a better time, I hope everyone gets hooked on it. It has the potential to do a great deal of good in society (and tip the balance towards inclusion after the Brexit fiasco).
