Hello Hiver? How are you to day? Today I would love to Lead you to A new tourist attraction in Quang Nam Province: "Co Tu traditional village". Let's explore this rustic village with me. When we visit to the central land of the country, you cannot ignore discovering the land of Tay Giang District, which is likened to the "Northwest version" located in the central region.Let's explore together the unique cultural characteristics of the Cotu people .This is a place can not to be missed when exploring the land of Quang Nam .
Discovering about the traditional village of cơtu and the land of Tay Giang.
This Cotu traditional village was built in A Tieng commune, Tay Giang district, Quang Nam and is located on a high mountain. Coming here you have the opportunity to discover the unique features of the Cotu ethnic group. , a population rich in aesthetics.
The unique architecture of the Cotu Traditional village.
This is a unique architectural complex of the Cotu people in Vietnam. This place is located in the center of Tay Giang District. In the middle of the village, people built a Guol house, which is considered the soul of the people here.
The first and most important thing when establishing a village is to build a Guol house for the Cotu ethnic group,. If A village does not have a guol house, it is considered to have no cultural tradition. Next to it are 10 traditional houses built by 10 neighboring communes. Normally, this house is for 40 households.
This village has a history of more than 30 years, sheltering the whole village. The house is built in the style of a stilt house with more than 32 columns with a spacious space of up to 210 meter square. All of the houses there are built with mainly wood and leaves with unique carvings: buffalo, snake...etc.
How is the way to Tay Giang?
If you want to visit Tay Giang, you can go by motorbike or bus. In order not to miss the moments of check-in in the majestic mountains, riding a motorbike is an extremely interesting choice for young people. But it's best to form a group to go and support each other because the road is quite far from Da Nang city, about 150km.
The right time to explore this place.
Summer is the ideal time to explore this place with the cool mountainous climate. If you visit there in winter time, you will not be surprised by the extremely magical beauty like the northern mountains.
Tay Giang district and Cotu traditional Village is only about 110 km from Hoi An ancient town and Da Nang, However not many tourists know about this place. Let's make a plan to come to Tay Giang district and discover the cultural life of the cotu people and the extremely cool primeval forest. Put aside the hustle and bustle of the city and spend time exploring this new place.
Besides the cotu traditional village , you can also conquer The Que Peak and explore the terraced fields here.
All this photo is taken by my husband in our Tay Giang trip with Friends.
