My bestfriend and I have been visiting newly opened and cute cafes around Cebu and Lapu-Lapu City. She's usually the one updated with new places and plans our cafe hopping. While I on the other hand, the entertainer, makes sure to give her a good laugh or drama hahah.

I am not an avid fan of coffee mainly because I dislike the feeling of palpitating and it is acidic (triggers my reflux). But I really like coffee that is ice blended with lotsa caramel and almond milk. Yep, has to be almond milk because I am also lactose intolerant (so manyyy problems 🤣). Although I tried half and half milk and it tastes so good too!! But ofcourse, you can guess what happened after. 😫 worth it tho hahah

NIMO BREW

Upon entering the place, you'd see this beautiful cabin which is the cafe called Nimo Brew. They opened last March 2021 and is located inside the Cebu Plant Company which is the garden center in Lapu-Lapu. It is quite a big place so parking is not a problem there. We brought my bestfriend's dog, Asia. It was a pet-friendly place and Asia even got the attention of some customers there.

Price range of their drinks is around 100-160 pesos (2-3.20 USD) only which is pretty affordable. They serve brunch, mostly paninis or sandwiches. They also have muffins and croissants.
I ordered my usual Iced Caramel Latte, while my bestfriend had their Classic Iced Latte.
Their staff were really accommodating and friendly. They even prepared water for Asia. 😘

CEBU PLANT COMPANY

Cebu Plant Company is a garden center that opened last January 2021. Pandemic made a lot of people get interested into gardening and planting. It is crazy how some people would spend thousands of pesos (hundreds of dollars) to purchase rare plants which they collect and propagate.

I also tried planting at some point during quarantine but was't successful with that. I really believe that some people have green thumb, and clearly I'm not one of them. lol but would really like to have my own garden someday with crops and vegetables, like a mini farm where I can just pluck ingredients when I need them. Need more research... 😅

These plants are all for sale. I really like the colorful grafted cactus which was around 1,200php (~24 USD). But obviously can't afford that, and too scared to take care of it. lol

They have this huge fish pond full of Koi of different colors! Do you also find it peaceful and calming to just stare at the fishes swimming and get lost in their world? Sometimes I'm curious what fishes think or feel. hahaha They also have these cute fluffy chickens! I literally just searched "white fluffy chicken" on Google and found out they are called "White Plymouth Rock"! They even have tiny house! 😍

Featuring this wanderer baby who's clearly enjoying her walk. Starting to get spoiled and getting used to bringing her when we go out. She'd bark nonstop in their house to remind us that she's coming with us hahah

This was where we sat while drinking our coffee, chatting about life and even danced for tiktok haha. Can you feel how chill and refreshing the ambience is?
