Hey there Steemians, sorry that we are so late checking in with this thread. As you might imagine, we haven't had much "free time" to SLEEP; much less spend time online!

As @harveyrelifefund (@xtraordinarypilot) said, WE personally had minimal damage to our home. A minor-miracle considering that this area received 3 times the ANNUAL rainfall total in less than a WEEK! But 10,000s around us were not so lucky, including several in our family.

Every waking hour for the last two weeks (or is it three?, I haven't slept) has been used WORKING! Filling sandbags, manning drain pumps, boat rescues, truck rescues, moving people to-and-from shelters, cooking for 100s daily, towing flooded cars of the road, carpet tear outs, sheetrock tear outs,animal rescues, animal relocation (read snakes/gators), MOLD treatments. . . (deep breath)

But, the "real" work has just really just begun.
