I totally agree with you @amiramnoam. Being under pressure is really not the best way to solve a problem. I have been in situations where something goes wrong and the tension is on the rise, people get to shout and scream and run around and all I do is sit back relaxed and have my thoughts hover around the possible solutions to the problem.
Being under pressure might work some people but the truth is that , you can never solve a problem fast enough or easily enough when you are under pressure. This is basically why many people don't like having women around when something goes wrong because the way the screen and cry can put you, who is trying to be calm under unnecessary pressure .
There is this joke I heard sometime ago. They said that the reason they asked women and children to enter the small boats during the Titanic maiden voyage mishap was for the men to have enough time to think up a possible solution to the imminent problem in a more relaxed and calm environment ...lolzz
This might sound like a joke but it makes much sense to me though .
