Hello everybody, I am here again telling why all my steel frames are signed Lacremò.
As I have written in my first #introduceyourself post, Lacremò is a toponym in the dialect of my place of a neighbourhood of my hometown, Finale Ligure.
The word "toponymy" is derived from the Greek words tópos (τόπος) ("place") and ónoma (ὄνομα) ("name")

I really like to think about that, which is just a point of a map, of course, an important point for me and my frames, but just a point with a specific name. From here they go.
Here I will show you my very first head badge a simple stainless steel label laser marked with the name of my place.
I have the piece laser cut and marked like this one, then I have to bend to adapt it on the head tubes of my frames.
I am glad to show you how it looks on the frame at the end.
I think it is a simple and elegant idea. It is just a detail. In my opinion details are important.
Lacremò is where my workshop is and the view it looks like that.
This is my way to be and I will like to continue to produce and learn how to make good steel bike frames, maybe one day some of you would like to have one... in this case, please, do not hesitate to contact me.

Do you have experience making "trekking" bikes? I will be looking for one at some point and maybe we can talk about it. You sold me with your choice of tubes ;)
It could be interesting talk about that. I have made a cx-gravel frameset and a couple of commuter-touring bikes.
