I just wanted to share this Christmas Lantern that was made by my husband it was made by recycled materials. This handmade Magazine Christmas Lantern is a project of our Barangay San Roque for those who have no work. In return the Christmas Lantern that will be sold, they will be given half of the price of the sold Christmas Lantern.
The materials that you need to have are magazine that you are not using at home, glue, and kawad or if you want to add something to make your lantern more beautiful just like what my husband did. He just add this red thing and beads.
Cut the magazine just like the photo that I uploaded, fold at least 4 pieces of cut magazine and glue it.
After you fold the magazine this will be the result. It is up to you many pieces you want to do, it depends on the Christmas Lantern size that you will make.
After you finish folding, using a cord make a star, it is up to you what design you want, put the finished folded magazine until you achieve the design that you want for your Christmas Lantern.
Just like this finish product that I have uploaded. For your information this Handmade Christmas Lantern that was made by my husband is already 7 years old and still counting.
My tip for this Handmade Magazine Christmas Lantern do not wash it for cleaning, just used a cloth because of the material that we use which is magazine.
