It's a shame, complete embarrassment

Very few things get under my skin or really get me pissed off. The United States is completly out of Control.

See in the United States, we have Handicap parking. These parking places are usually the spots closest to the building. Now I have never been out of the United States, well since I was little. I was born In Tokoyo Japan, but that a post for another day. But I don't remember if Tokoyo had Hadicap Parking.

Very nice of us to provide a upclose parking space for the disable right? Well it would be if they where able to use them. See we have a bunch of lazy self intitled assholes that live in the states that abuse these designated parking places that were intended for the HANDICAP! Oh its real easy, all you have to do is go pay a fee and get the sign that hangs in your window.

So to you Lazy people

Walk, thats right. Have you gotten so Lazy that you can't walk an extra 10 or 50 feet. See you are the reason that the United States is so screwed up right now, that sign that you hang in your window, well maybe someone should have explained it to you better but here is what it is for. It is for PHYSICALLY handicap not MENTALLY handicap. See you must be Mentally handicap if you are will to make someone who can barely walk or is in a wheelchair walk further than you. I am sorry that the Past leaders of this country gave you everything that you thought you needed and made you feel intitled but its caused you to be LAZY.

It's not just you though, it's even by the inforcers of the law. Just look at that picture, damn police officer parked in a Handicap parking. Now the last time I checked you couldn't be a police officer if you couldn't walk.

Well looky here, I guess someone paid for express shipping or next day shipping. Maybe this dumbass wasn't going to make the scheduled delivery time and thsse few extra steps he saved helped him get it there on time.

Well this guy here is the definition of an asshole. We have another mentally handicap person. Now this self intitled asshole thought it was okay to take up two spaces and he can clearly walk just fine.

I mean my god, what happened to being respectful, being ethical or just doing the right thing. Wake up people and stop the bullshit.

Sorry for the Rant, but it needed to be said

I understand if you downvote this post and it's cool. I UNDERSTAND that getting called out may have pissed you off....haha it was worth it.

I once got 3 tickets in 1 week for parking in a handicap spot. I left my car in the parking garage at work and took a carpool to the airport. I was in Mexico for work for 10 days. During that time, they converted the spot I parked in into a handicap spot and just painted around my car. It was pretty funny. I came back from the trip and everyone in the office was just laughing at me. I fought the tickets in court and won obviously, the retired cop that wrote the tickets knew my car hadn't moved in days and that it was a recently converted spot and still wrote them all. The same f-ing guy. The judge chewed him out for wasting the courts time...it was brilliant.

Now thats funny, glad the judge thought it was a waste if time. Thanks for stopping by dude. Looks like @blocktrades hit you up...

I'm very thankful and I hope it made him/her laugh...it was frustrating at the time but that just made it all worth it :-) Thanks for taking a stand and posting the story...some of the people that work in my office abuse the system and get handicap passes when they don't really need them and its pathetic to watch.

Where we live, it's difficult to get a handicap tag or licence plate. That might be why the handicap parking spots are almost never used around here.

Nobody should ever abuse special parking privileges for the physically disabled, I just think in my opinion (at least around here) we have too many reserved spaces. It used to be that every parking lot had one or two handicap spaces, now it's five or six. Why? They're always empty!

For the blockchain record, I never park in handicap parking. That would be just wrong.

@ironshield

For the blockchain record, I never park in handicap parking. That would be just wrong. I like that. Thanks for stopping by

This is a huge issue. I had no idea until I sustained a multiple femur fracture. Then I got a truckload of insight into just what truly handicapped people go through. All spaces filled with no stickers or tags even. And healthy people coming out of buildings and stores carrying packages and hopping into their vehicles. I think we have become numb and insensitive to many aspects of caring and used to taking and feeling entitled to whatever advantage we can take. It is a much bigger issue than handicapped parking, it's cultural, immoral and unethical conditioning to separate and isolate us. Don't however lose hope, this is not a pervasive behavior, there are many more like yourself who do not or would not do such a thing, they are just not as visible. Peace and Serenity.

Well we need to make them more visible. Thanks for the visit.

When you're right, you're right! My dad is 92 and still won't get a handicap sticker.

Perfect post to be upvoted.

Thanks whacker!

It's like my wife driving me crazy when I don't take the absolute closest spot... it's like the craving to buy something that has the absolute cheapest price. everything is not a competition

Mine too. Maybe they are all the same.

Yeah. I can't stand people that may have a parent or someone else in their family that's handicap, but still use them to part just a few spots closer when the handicap person isn't in the car.

Right, like the get the special treatment..

Man I am with you here on this! The population is continuing to age and these people need to be able to get to their cars, but when people that don't have any disabilities use these spots it is frustrating.

Thanks dude, thouggt for sure someone would have down voted this one. Happy New Years.

I am a little surprised as well! The people not on Steemit would have downvoted it, but they cannot! muhaha lol jk

100% agree! People using the handicap designated stalls in public restrooms drives me the same amount of crazy! We have a very good friend who is confined to a wheelchair and he's always in my mind when I see people doing this shit.

Never thought of this. But you are right, now that I think about it I have seen it before, a wheelchair persone waiting to use the restroom and a GOOD walking oeraon comes out.

Agree. This is on my list of things that drive me NUTS! Another thing is people who don't turn the headlights on in the rain! I think I need to do a post about it....

I'm sure people who are too fat think they deserve this handicap designation.

Awesome post! You’re right 👍🏽

Few people of religion respect the parking space for people with special needs

Excellent post thanks for sharing...../////////

Very nice article :)

Yeah sadly I see it all the time. People are horseshit. Nice call out bud, love these posts 😁

I am older and walk with a cane, but I would never think to use a handicapped parking space because I don't consider myself handicapped. I often see much younger and capable folks wearing their gym clothes park in these spots. I get a little heated when I see this and have spoken to these folks as well. They are the ones handicapped. Decency challenged.

Where i live there are loads of handicap spots in every parking lot and they are usually vacant. In fact a pet peave of mine is pulling into a large 100 car parking lot that is full, while all 20 handicap spots right at the front are vacant.

One of many things that piss me off. We also have here, parking for pregnant mothers or mother's with small children some places, and people park there who shouldn't as well.

I also hate it when young people don't give up their seats on the metro (subway) for an elderly or disabled person. That grinds me so hard!

Loved this post! And it’s a wonderful analogy to some of the crap goin on in ssg...

Ha! ...(thedamus grips his tacti-pen with a vigillantes zeal!)

This is a topic that I've been wanting to write about myself but from a slightly different angle. I know for a fact that there are a shit load of people that take advantage if these parking permits, but there's also a lot that use them that have very serious problems that are not easily detected by a bystander. Take me for example: I have one of these permits but only use it when absolutely necessary. Some days I need it, some days I don't. There's been times when I've had to use it and people have given me some go to hell looks, like..."There's nothing wrong with that guy, look at him." Well, I have yet to have anyone to actually have the sac to actually speak on it, but I welcome the motherfucker to because I will let them have it with both barrells. I've got a list of shit a mile long wrong with me, but you cant really tell it at first glance. I mean hell, you saw me doing some crazy shit in papa-pepper's challenge that one time, but then all of the sudden I had to drop out. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin on your post and I'm not mad. I'm just wanting people have a little bit more open mind when it comes to seeing someone park in a handicap spot and they might not seem to be physically handicapped at first sight but they really are or could be. Shit, I might as well and go ahead and start typing my blog lol. This is a touchy subject for me Ray, as you can imagine. This and when I see people getting picked on or criticized for using a scooter or electric shopping cart and the person doing the criticizing is always amazed when the person stands up out of the chair to get something off of a store shelf and says something like "It's a miracle, they can walk again!" When I see shit like that my blood gets boiling. Yeah, there are fat ass, lazy people that are too sorry to walk around the store to shop but then there's the people that need that assistance too and get picked on and blasted on the web because someone wanted to be a comedian. I know your post wasnt geared towards all of this, it just opened the door for a bigger picture I'm wanting people to see. No sleep for the Bandit tonight....lol
