Some of those stitches I dont know! Interesting!
Cool idea! I never made a sampler, just stitched right away. The sampler is a good possibility to practise!
This takes me back to school days!
We also took one stitch and tried it in different yarns, weights, size etc - a bit like you've done with running stitches.
Have you got a favourite stitch?
My favorite so far is french knot, blanket stitch and feather stitch.
Yes, I like way you've played with these in your sampler. The one I've never been able to get on with is satin stitch!

I find the running stitch is really versatile, but can never remember how to make the feather stitch unless I am looking at instructions :)
