@stuffing Your gun drawing was good,i especially like the 3rd picture on a hand holding a gun. You have a good friend, he must be noticed that you dream of shooting and now he offer you this chance. It was so cool for a lady with a gun. I always admirer FBI lady holding a gun when i watched movie. They were so cool and "handsome". So, how was your first feeling when you touched the pistol? Did your hand sore after the training because the impact of the shooting. If i have chance, I would like to try as well. You look so cool and professional in the video. Thanks for sharing this exciting experience with us.

Hi oliviackl, I was shaking from gripping the hand grip waaay too tight because I was unfamiliar with the amount of recoil or pressure required. After I relaxed it became easier and it was surprisingly not as heavy going as what I thought it would be. I was fortunate enough to shoot with a very nice pistol, the difference in quality makes a big difference in how it feels. My hand was not sore afterwards, but my head was from the noise all day. It is immensely different from the movies, but those FBI ladies to make it look attractive.

Now i serious admired you have such a chance to try. I would love to try if a chance offer it to me.

My hand was not sore afterwards, but my head was from the noise all day

I though the momentum of the shooting would made our hand sore but didn't knew that was the noise!!With the ear muff, your head still has the noise all day. The gun shooting noise must be very loud.

It’s violently ear piercing, to do it without ear muffs would be a feat in itself! Couple that with a hot day and it can quickly become a real test for the mind and body. Lucky that day was cool :D
