I came across this little frankengun today. It is a M-Lok railed, suppressed lever action rifle. While I like a lever action being suppressed for hog hunting, because .30-30 is great for hogs, coyotes, and well just about anything else on the continent. Just because you can tacticool something up, doesn't mean you should. Thoughts?
have you seen the ones that come from the factory like that? I saw some bastardized mossburg lever gun with a rail system and a collapsible stock the thing was nasty
Truly cringe-worthy. It is almost like adding a tacticool stock to a mini-14. If you took away the collapsible stock and the rail sections, and just have the threaded barrel and rail on top for a red-dot and it would be modern enough. That Mossberg is atrocious!
Agreed, this one is about the ugliest lever action I have ever seen, definitely worse than the one featured in this post. I love lever action rifles, but prefer them to be much more traditional in style. I own one lever action in Henry Big Boy Steel, .357.
The firearms community has gone full retard. I've been buying, shooting, collecting guns since 1972, and the last 20 years have been a nightmare of marketeering and tacticool shit; gun bunnies everywhere. Gawd, give me Col. Jeff Cooper, Charles Askins, and Elmer Keith any-day over thes sunglass wearing, tattoed egomaniacs in multicam. Their all dead now, but if they weren't this shit would kill them.
Agreed, I think that is why simpler designs are coming back. You can put all the toys on your rifle if you want, but it won’t compensate for poor skills.
I have to disagree that thing is freaking cool!!!! I think especially for hog hunting at night in the brush. I would put a light on that bad boy!!! The suppressor is an awesome idea! I would be glad to add that to my collection and I would shoot it often!!! #Merica #MAGA
Oh yeah, nothing wrong with suppressing a .30-30! There isn't many hogs out there that will shrug it off. I find adding the tacticool hand guards a bit on the silly side. I'm not going to own one, but you do you boo!
