Simple notes:
2- The US is not just Chicago and Texas. Here are the stats.
3- Gun violence is not just about the policy. There are other factors affecting the numbers. In Texas, death penalty risk is far serious than any other state. The organized crime problem are much more serious in some states.
4- This expression "more guns in Texas, but safer" is not rational, because it is not about the number of guns in a state; it is about the rate of gun ownership. 1- There are other countries in the world and other gun policies. The US has a far liberal gun policy than any other Western country. This is the result. -->http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/03/americas/us-gun-statistics/index.html This one shows mortality-->https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm.htm This one shows gun ownership-->https://qz.com/437015/mapped-the-us-states-with-the-most-gun-owners-and-most-gun-deaths/
