Guitar Jam for your toast

in #guitar8 years ago (edited)

Yo, here's an improv I wanted to post, because my mom told me she likes it.

I have been here for a week now and I'm loving it. Almost a 100 subs, thanks everybody who commented and posted some nice stuff, up voted, comments etc. I hated Facebook, not fan of twitter, I only post on youtube so I don't have to host my own videos but this steemit thing is totally gonna take over!

I dedicate this song to @fyrstikken because he upvoted a few of my posts in my first week here and I'm honoured. Why? Because I babysat my bitcoins, I sang along to the shitcoin song, listened to whale club on teamspeak and I even pumped and dumped some cxc. I hope he see this.

Beautiful sound man!

YOU are beautiful... You love Com Truise? I love Com Truise. You will hear many songs here that used that retro keyboard sound from the 80s hope to see you again and I will check your post in the future, because you obviously have taste.

Thank you Vachemort - good to meet you too!

Dope stuff man, I like the ambiance of the sound and the video. Sometimes moms know best, ahah!

Thanks really nice of you. yeah my mom know best for sure. Really like your stuff and nice cover of the doors today.

Yummy, I'll take strawberry please

I only have raspberry... what to do?

I'll take it as long as there is no aspartame. Only real sugar for me.

Pure organic and sweetened with honey and stevia... how about that ?

Sweet

Coming from you that mean a lot.... I have no steem, left if I did I would up vote all your stuff. I will post some wing chun soon, that might also interest you.

No worries :) happy to see people do what they love. Cheers!

Beautiful improv. You inspired me to make a simple video like you did. I have a couple of vids that I am posting on my site. I like to improvise also.

Yo Richard Royce I checked your page and I am honored you stopped by. I like flamenco and classic guitar. I don't play anything other than improvisation. I think it keeps me on the edge when I play, it's like solving a puzzle on the spot. Nice to be connected with you.

@vachemorte,
Here's the deal...Art is about inspiration and perspiration. The ratio is about 99% perspiration. What that means is you don't need a lot of styles or notes to create ART. You just have to be fluent in what you do enough so you don't stumble over your technique or have to engage your intelLect in the process by thinking about what you are going to do next. Once that part is out of the way which you arrive at by just playing what you enjoy and enjoying what you play. The next part is just forgetting everything you know and lay back and just listen to what your hands create. In other words, GET OUT OF THE WAY. JUST LET YOUR MUSE GUIDE YOUR HANDS. I know you know this because I can hear LOVE in your music.

I agree with you about improv. that's my favorite thing to do is just sit with my best friends (either Lola my flamenco guitar or George my handmade classical guitar) and let them talk to me! I try not to interrupt them when they are singing. I JUST LET THEM SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT TO SAY!

Nice connecting with you also.

We got a connexion here buddy. Today I scanned some photo of the instruments I built, so come back in a few, if you like handmade guitars.

Did I come back too soon? I wanted to see your guitars! BTW, I posted two new pieces just for you called Improv 1 and Improv 2. Your inspiration!

Yes a bit too soon. I scanned the photos, I also took photos of the tools I used (In a really dusty box... and there was some really old friends in there I didn't see for a while). I still have to put a post together so come back for that soon but not too soon...sorry to keep you waiting :)

No worries, I'll be back! BTW I use a bit of reverb when I record. I use Band in a Box. for what I do which is just single track guitar I use the Band in a Box auxillary program, Power Tracks.

yes I listen to both, really good.

I just listened to your piece again. Really beautiful! Makes me want to get out my effects rig and play around with it.

I used a boss analog delay in that track, one of my favorite effect pedal.
