I understand completely what you're saying, and I'm aware some people think like this....
My opinion is that people complaining about the quality of the content of e.g. actifit posts should be aware, that this is not a professional writing platform which we could earn a living from (except of some exceptions)... We try to have some fun and earn some pennies form it...

I find it humorous when people take their blogging so seriously. There will always be high quality content and there will always be junk. Sometimes high quality content is overlooked and under appreciated and this is a travesty, sometimes junk is over-rewarded and that's not good either. But autovoting is not the cause of either of these problems, very few people have an upvote value over $0.10.
