This was interesting to read for a newbie like me. From the first glimpse to steemit, I figured out that its the content that rules and hard work, as everywhere else. Sure! Crypto currency is one of the most popular topics here, especially among the more established bloggers. That's why the trending page is always full of it, and the first impression for a new user must be a bit one-sided... However, if you look a bit deeper, there is a LOT of other content. You just need to know where to find it :-)
