I've learned that school doesn't teach people HOW to think, but instead, WHAT to think..
We need to learn how to freely think and go beyond the common taught knowledge of school systems.
What we learn from true experience in the real world and from the intensity of taking risk, will stick with us far more longer than what we we'd learn in compulsory grades and lessons.
Be alone, ignore the noise in society and apply self taught knowledge in your life and watch how things start making sense and you'll figure out ways to progress and move forward.
Read, research, listen, find a mentor.... GROW!
Very well said. Being a recently retired teacher I could not agree with you more. I spent 30 years in the classroom teaching emotionally disturbed children and loved every minute of it. My students mostly came from a single parent household. The most valuable lessons I taught them involved social skills and being able to think for themselves.
