You have inherited so much more from her than a couple of lesson and material things. She was a world class crafts person with skill unmatched in her field, you have that very same creative talent and natural skill, it shows in your writing and all the other crafts and projects you take on. You have perseverance that I have not come across before in any human being. As much as parts of her were praise worthy, there is little about you that is not so. She has in you a legacy, more of your own making than anyone else's, a legacy that most only dream of. Grief is a strange place, littered with treasures rarely seen. You can be proud of the woman you are today, as I am sure your mother would be.
