It would seem (according to gridcoinstats.eu) that the Gridcoin network has stabilized, For 3 days the network diff has been above 2. Network weight is around 20mil+
Granted all exchanges are closed to withdrawals and deposits until the developers give the go ahead, Likely due to some other niggling issue causing a few minor forks here and there, In general though the fixes implemented in 3.7.7.0 have largely solves the forking issues.
In other news great progress has been made on the whitepaper, lots of discussion is going on over on the whitepaper slack channel, once complete getting onto other exchanges should be easier and general trust in the coin and it's developers should increase.
It's been a turbulent start to the year with major price crashes across the board, Gridcoin has held its price relative to bitcoin pretty well, Likely partly due to the restrictions on withdrawals and deposits.
As of this post bitcoin has recovered back to around $8000, and Gridcoin is sitting at the $0.06 mark. A small recovery is in the works it would seem, Hopefully confidence improves over the next few months after a string of Negative news surrounding the crypto world.
I certainly plan to invest more into Gridcoin, both financially and scientifically, I plan to build a Raspberry pi supercomputer as a hobby project to crunch some data. I'm looking forward to what the future holds.
