How cryptocurrency mining affects our hobby *|hardware and gaming.|*

Hello steemians,

Today i would like to share with you my thoughts about how cryptocurrency mining affects us the gamers and people who studies for development and etc. Dont get me wrong. Cryptocurrency mining is indeed a very nice way to make some "easy" money, but does anyone thought what is the impact in our hobby which is hardware and gaming.

Picture.

As you know people started to buy out all of the graphics card in order to mine Etherium. It is reason why all this cryptocurrency went really up. As a result the compoments became really expensive for a student like me to be able to own one. Every store and online shop stocks are empty or already sold out. The prices for the most component which is the Graphics card are ridiculously high. Even Ram has been affected because of the mining.

Right now is the worst time in the history of graphics cards to buy or upgrade this all-important gaming component. The impact is huge. Two of my friends are in need of upgrading their graphics card for their studies or playing their games and they cant because of it.

Why do we need the graphics card for ? For photoshop, Adobe aftereffects, for 3d unity, for development, literly for everything. Here is a very nice blog why do we need gpus.

I really hope for a solution to come really soon. As i said above i dont have any problem with the miners. This is what they want to do. This is a easy way to make more money. But why it has to affect us the studens, the gamers, the small developers who want to became better and better..?? It hurts me to watch photos in facebook or instagram posts from stores selling like 100 graphics card instantly because a miner got them for a better price.

Thank you for reading my post,

I am gamer too. I think that there is still no problem for us at the market, and why is that? Not forget that miners are looking for stable hardware, and they are THE WORST stress testers you will ever see...

What I want to tell with that?
Its obviously that To find what graphic card is stable, good and ROCK you can only look the mining forums. There you will see many "benchmarks" about those cards. Ok ok, there are not game marks, but To speak the truth, I do not want to buy a card with a price 200 plus $ , and at the end of the first month I have to change it or bring it back to where I bought it, because the card did not handle the pack.
Ok I do not like to give more money than I could before the mining frenzia... but, this is marketing.....
Maybe next months there will be a release of new cards, more mining friendly ( ??? spoiler ??? ) so we, the gaming trail be able to but a gaming card without the headache of mining prices.

i aprove with you but until we see those mining cards. i have a feeling that it might take some time until it become silicon and bit :D

Then you can make some efforts with steemit!!! This platform is the future of crypto (my opinion of course )

this is not a new issue . im an ethereum miner and i use GPU's designed for mining without any video output and with enhanced cooling system called Nvidia P106-100 and P104-100.. i also have some rx powercolor 580's which give more mh/s atm but shouldnt be able to last as long as their mining counterparts . what im saying is that now you have 2 category of gpus . for playing/working and for mining .. gl
