Your camera is junk, you can't take any photos of birds. You don't have the time or the equipment. You set your camera up and for hours nothing happens, and as soon as you take the camera away there are flocks of birds where before there was none. I don't have a camera with a telephoto lens and there is no way you can get close enough to take a snap far less a video. Ah the limitation of being poor.
So what do you do? you get yourself a 35€ Ekan H9R action camera which is the since of a lego block and try some time lapse photography. You take a photo every 2 seconds and stitch 1500 photos together to make a video... and the results are not exactly what you wanted... lots of dead space with no birds on camera... and with each photo being 5 megapixels that is multi giga space on your SD card, and because there is no action taking place, it is as if you took 300 photos where nothing really happens... Oh to have a motion sensor that only turns the video on when there is some movement in front of the camera.
And the birds, well they are Great Tits the most psychotic, nervous, fidgety birds on the planet. Never still for more than a second, so with such uncooperative subjects, it is hardly likely that the footage you get will be any good. Who would want to watch a video that turns out to be just the same as staring at a still photo for half a minute.
Life is like that you need the right tools to do the job, and the results you get from trying to cobble something together never turn out to be like the visions that you have seen in your head.
