I am grateful for being alive, and in good health.

I am most grateful for being here, now, in this time
when there has never been so much opportunity,
when there has never been as much peace (despite
the media wants us to believe)
when there is so much freedom,
when there are so many resources at our disposal.
Life may be tough, but it is easier than
it was 1000 years ago.
Life may be tough, but even the world's richest people
from 100 years ago could not even imagine the things
we take for granted.
