Gratitude.

Gratitude, thankfulness, thanksgiving, or gratefulness, from the Latin gratus ‘pleasing, thankful’, is a feeling of appreciation felt by and/or similar positive response shown by the recipient of kindness, gifts, help, favors, or other types of generosity, towards the giver of such gifts. The experience of gratitude has historically been a focus of several world religion. It has also been a topic of interest to ancient, medieval and modern philosophers, and continues to engage contemporary western philosophers. The systematic study of gratitude within psychology only began around the year 2000, possibly because psychology traditionally focused more on understanding distress than on understanding positive emotions. The study of gratitude within psychology has focused on the understanding of the short term experience of the emotion of gratitude (state gratitude), individual differences in how frequently people feel gratitude (trait gratitude), and the relationship between these two aspects.

Now ,Now, Now..

What are we usually grateful for?

Gifts.

With Christmas Around The Corner, there is gonna be lots of gratitude going around on the planet.

This is Good!

It sets the mood just right for the brand new year.

When everyone is in a state of gratefulness, somehow their vibration, and everything and everyone around them changes, for the better.

I have a wise bald friend, extremely monkish , he always says ,

An extremely unhappy person is not only hazardous to himself but he now becomes an occupational hazard to everyone around him. Exact words.
Not just occupational, almost hazard in every other way.
Emotional.
Financial.
Sociological.
Medical .
Mental...
Hazard.

He always told me to always be in Acceptance .
Just fucking accept that this is it.
Too much of expectation(s),will result in disappointment (s),which then boils down to unhappiness.
How true?
Sensible?
He always is.

So,to be happy..
We just accept where we are and start giving thanks to all the little things in life.
Express gratitude.
Gratefully.
Generously Express.

For the AIR we breathe.
For the WATER we drink.
For the FAMILY and FRIENDS we have.
For the Little Things.
For The BIG THINGS.
The SOUNDS and SIGHTS of our life.
The ENVIRONMENT around us.
The HEALTH.
The STRENGTH.
The JOY.
The SMILES.
The DIVINE BLISS
The DANCES.
The GIFTS.
The Wonderful and Abundant Life We All Have.

Life my dear friend, has its own magical, mystical and miraculous ways of showing us what we should be grateful towards.

Those who know me well, will agree with a indian nod, when i say i took the Road Not Taken.

I never did or ever belonged with the Herd.
I was always outStanding.
Loud and Big.
Failing.
Falling Back.
Then Springing Back Up.
Just like that.
Like the Spring Force!
Remains a constant.
(K ) being the constant.
Special K.

Each of us learn the lessons we need to learn by going through their own journey.

This is mine,I am completely accountable for it. To myself and my Creator.
To my Higher Intelligence and the Innate.

I am grateful.

So Very Full of Gratitude.

How about you?

Thank You God!
Terima Kasih Tuhan.

Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy." Fred De Witt Van Amburgh

"The world has enough beautiful mountains and meadows, spectacular skies and serene lakes. It has enough lush forests, flowered fields, and sandy beaches. It has plenty of stars and the promise of a new sunrise and sunset every day. What the world needs more of is people to appreciate and enjoy it." Michael Josephson

"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough." Oprah Winfrey
