Post Jerry Deadheads

I think it's both a blessing and a burden to be a post Jerry Deadhead. We are blessed enough to be a part of this scene but the burden is on us to take it to the next level and ensure there will continue to be new generations of Deadheads.
I Always knew about projects like furthur and the other ones but nothing really grabbed me, I had already accepted that I would never see the Dead let alone follow them on tour.
Dead & Company coming together changed everything, I could sense right away this was the real deal and I spent every penny I had to make sure I would be there on the floor Halloween night 2015, I couldn't sleep for 4 days straight leading up to the show! I had no idea where the music would take me after that show but the band kept touring so I decided to keep seeing them, then last summer I loaded up the van and I followed the band on tour, it was like some dream! I never thought I would get a chance, I thought I had missed my opportunity by being born too late... Turns out I was right on time to catch the next bus leaving the station!
Now is our chance to use the smoldering embers from the fire lit long ago and fan the flames for a new generation. The world needs to learn how to love again, let's show um how it's done!

Nice story and thanks for sharing! I hope to see D&C in Atlanta this year.

I'm moving to Colorado so I'm not sure I'll be able to make Atlanta but I can't wait to see them in Boulder again! Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
