So, these are my thoughts on the GPD win laptop. It sucks. The concept is awesome: a full featured laptop the size of a portable game system. Alas, trouble begins when you actually try to use it. The keys are way too small for human hands. They chose to implement the power button like a cell phone. It takes an extended duration to both turn on and turn off the machine. On a PC this is worrisome behavior as you really expect almost immediate feedback. Whilst 4gb of memory makes Windows 10 almost acceptable the processor struggles with basic PC gaming. You can run emulators for classic consoles but that task is already (less expensively) served by Android devices. Among its other quirks is the fact that if you plug in too many USB devices it will straight up power down the machine. The latest Windows 10 update also disabled/uninstalled my wireless and Bluetooth. The final straw was that, when the device is fully charged via AC, it completely forgets that it's attached to the wall and then drains down to zero. As with most mysterious Asian vendors support is nearly nonexistent. If you do find relevant web pages they’re barely useful. Since GPD has already moved on to a newer models I'm dead certain they won't even consider patching these serious flaws. So, in conclusion, it's not a great PC laptop for gaming and I can't be used as a desktop machine because it drains down to zero and then shuts down. I would not recommend this machine at all. This is just personal opinion/experience.
