These magnificent backgrounds are not only an aesthetic upgrade but also enhance your shard production. They come in various rarities, each providing a unique percentage boost to your shard production (second on is first edition boni):

• Abundant -> 1% / 1.1%
• Scarce -> 2% / 2.2%
• Precious -> 3% / 3.3%
• Exceptional -> 5% / 5.5%
• Invaluable -> 10% / 11%
• Enigma -> 15% / 16.5%
• Artifact -> 20% / 22%

For instance, if your shard drop on claim is 10 with a claim modifier of 130%, instead of the normal 13 shards, you would receive 15 shards with an Artifact background!

Background NFTs will be attainable from our newly introduced Background Crates, available for purchase using shards at a rate of 8.3 shards per crate (updated weekly to peg at 50 cents per crate). Three different crates, each offering different possible backgrounds, will be available at launch, allowing you to target your favourite backgrounds.

And here's the kicker: crates purchased within the first month will receive the First Edition tag, granting them an additional 10% effectiveness!

This release also marks the introduction of the Inventory and Shop/Open Crate interface, which will help in testing for the upcoming tech nft's.
