We don’t want these centralised, mainstream institutions to remain in control, but we do need them to adapt their models and get on board with crypto. If they’re investing and innovating in the space, like GS are here, then it’s a great thing in my opinion.
The beautiful thing about crypto is that they never will be able to take full control like they enjoy in the current system. The tighter they grip, the more it slips through, so to say 😉.
Have a good day mate, worth the resteem.
Fair points, and of I do agree that their involvement in the space has some real positives. It legitimizes cryptocurrencies to a great extent and suggests that the technology IS the future of money. Those of us who are already in the space stand to do gain from this, absolutely.
I hope you're right that they can never take 'full control', is there any specific reasons as to why you believe that they cannot impose a NDWO (New Digital World Order) by co-opting the technology and/or the markets?
Well they can make their own centralised/closed network on a blockchain that they control, but they'll never be able to do it with any of the decentralised coins that are out there already. And it's those, that will always do their job in providing an alternative to that world order you are worried about.
