A while back I wandered across the Ohio River into Indiana to get some shots of the Louisville skyline. The sun was setting as I was getting everything set up but I managed to get this shot looking downriver. The bridge in the shot is the Fourteenth Street Bridge, a railroad bridge built in 1870. It is a truss drawbridge that at the time of its construction was the longest iron bridge in the United States, and just past it is the Falls of the Ohio. Although I've been here many times (there's a nice ice cream place and a state park with fossil beds nearby) this was the only time I've witnessed a sunset like this there.
