New to town

Hi folks, I have finally arrived here, although with very little knowledge of the workings of this site. You may laugh when I tell you that I sold all of my crypto in exchange for cash back in 2020. I had little choice in the matter, I needed to make a change in my life, and by selling my investment I was able to make that change. Not only that but because I don't use QRs nor do I like to use phones for anything except calls, and also the changes to UK law, it became very difficult to manage my crypto, hence, now cryptoless but happy with the change.
I am creative in ways but not a thespian by any stretch of the imagination. Mainly music and art are my thing but I only do that to please myself.
I was thinking about an amatuer play that I was involved with as a technical facilitator back in 1996 and it made me realise that everything and everyone that I know is living in that play. You may know it, Waiting for Godot. I seem to remember that it was about three characters who were waiting around for the fourth character to arrive and fix all of their problems, the fourth character being Godot.
Godot never arrived and whilst the other three spent the entire time talking and fighting and losing their minds it became more and more obvious that the writer, Samuel Beckett, a fellow Irishman, never intended for Godot to arrive. My point being that it seems to be exactly what the world is suffering from today. Too many are waiting for Godot.
I'm not, that's why I'm here, trying to find my next turn.
