God had told the man "You may eat all the fruit of the tree in this garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, if you eat its fruit you will surely die" -Gen. 2:16-17.
Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
source: KJV
The instruction not to eat of the fruit was made unto the man. But the man Adam blamed God for giving him a woman and blamed the Woman also for causing him to eat the forbidden fruit. Man greatest problem is to reject responsibility for his action. Today we are blaming everybody and situation around for our failures. We blame the economic, the government our relation and even God for our woes.
Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. source: KJV
The woman had to prove on the other hand that she is not weak and timid, when God asked her to know the part she played in the act of disobedience, she said "
Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
On the other hand, the woman blamed the serpent and sub-consciously blamed GOD for creating the Serpent. If you GOD had not created the serpent i would not have disobeyed you as i just did. The serpent caused me to do that.
ADAM ----BLAMED GOD AND THE WOMAN
EVE ----- BLAMED THE SERPENT AND GOD
WHO ARE YOU BLAMING FOR YOUR ACTIONS? Emmmmm maybe someone else or ,,,,
If this action film called " BLAME GAME" is helpful, it will only be for a while. Responsible person will always accept responsibility and not blame othes.
FUNNY :
it is very funny that neither ADAM nor EVE asked GOD for pardon. If they had ask God for forgiveness GOD being full of mercy would have forgiven then, but they did not asked.
