A TED talk that boosted my GPA

in #goals7 years ago

If you want to achieve your goals, don't focus on them. I know it seems a bit unnatural and horribly unconventional. From our childhood, we have been being instructed to focus on our goals. Whenever we fail in something or feel like giving up on something, the first thing we try is focusing on our goal. But, Reggie Rivers here explain how focusing on your goal holds you back.

I watched this at the beginning of the last semester and I can't thank Reggie enough. I discovered that I was focusing too much on my goals rather than what I should do at this very moment. Focusing too much on your goals deteriorates the condition resulting in unnecessary worrying. I became more productive as I was not tensed anymore. I suddenly started enjoying my personal and academic life. I ended cutting the top-tier grade in the semester. :)

Check this out if you haven't yet:

I'll be sharing useful videos and resources on positive daily life, self-improvement and motivation. I follow back though. Haha.
