This is what I mean by auto rotated pictures. Really know how to get on my nerves. Lol.
I'm so annoyed right now. I typed half a post and went off on a search for a picture from the lab that I wanted to show you guys and lo and behold, it was missing from my Facebook profile and phone. Cue #StrangerThings .
Anyway, I was just typing out a long post on GMOs (genetically modified organisms). I should really type out my trains of thoughts in structure so it'd be easier to type out all at once 😅😅
A small update- went to a party all on my own that day. Okay well, not completely on my own. Went with a friend of a friend's. The parties here are so different from the ones we have back home.
To be fair, I'm still getting used to Austria. It is quaint and tiny with little roads of cobblestone. How much can one expect from a place like that except a certain air of romanticism 😅😅
How can one not fall in love with and in a country like that.
Anyway, back to the topic of GMOs. I love this one thing about Austria and it is the lush variety of organic food here. I love their quaintness that isn't seen anywhere else. Every Saturday, a farmer comes by ringing our doorbells. He sells fresh produce with his tractor!! Can you imagine a tractor on cobblestone streets?? 😂😂
They call this fire beans. Or better known as borlotti beans. I made them today with a semi sweet and sour sauce pasta.
Like, how pretty are they?? 😍😍 I thought they were rocks when I first saw them. And they're really yummy and easy to cook too!! I was thinking of making the rest of them in a stew.
My bean, wiener pasta creation 😅😅
And there was the humongous salad leaf vegetable thing that I had to get because they were bigger than my head and I was impressed 😂😂
It's not like I'm against GMOs, I'm in support of them to be very honest. I used to work with GMOs in the lab and I couldn't find a picture of my corn so I got one off Google.
Most people I know are against GMOs because of the lack of research done on them. They aren't harmful, and they're not precariously toxic either. In fact, they provide a lot of nutrients especially to people in third world countries who suffer from malnutrition.
Like Golden Rice that is enriched and Flavr Savr tomatoes. If you'd like I could make another post solely for GMOs and their benefits and why people think they're risque (If I may) because I think this post has gotten a little long 😅😅
So I'll see you gentlemen (and ladies) in a bit??
Bye!! 😊
Ending with a pretty Pepper picture 😉
