I flagged all the posts, I noticed they are 7 days old. I hope people will join to reduce the rewards. Watching so many rewards going in a single direction on 10 posts a day from a single user makes me kind of sick :)
I would understand if the author would have merged the 10 posts into a single one or maybe maximum 2 posts.
Even tough I don't believe in public TA, I get that there are many people interested in this thing and we must respect them, but 99% of the rewards are coming from a single user, which is wrong.
Free TA for me is like still believing in Santa Claus and as soon as you gain experience you will be disappointed. It's just marketing. Why do you believe Santa Claus was invented ? Same reason as free TA : Consume so other can get rich.
I do believe in professional TA, which is paid and it's done by people who are right in +80% of the cases. But those guys are running in different circles :)

I spent months making a music album, I am a good content creator and I play the steemit #openmic. I posted something that bernie disagreed with. So as well as flagging the comment he disagreeedied with he then went through my entire blog and down voted every post I had that was due to pay out.

This is great my friend berniesanders, you know that I followed this pod that calls itself haejin ,,,, one follows him and he votes and comments his article, and the son of shit never answers even a damn comment, and now that is threatened, I see that here if it responds and in a very bad way, it is honestly a complete rubbish,
Here's a valid question - if haejin's crypto predictions are so valuable, then a) he would be making huge money from trading and b) so will his fans.. so, therefore, how much money do he and his followers invest in steem from their trading profits? Maybe overall his posts would increase the price of steem and be good for everyone - if they are truly valuable. If they are not valuable and don't produce benefits and don't reflect proof of brain, then why does anyone support or upvote him ?

I agree with you...smh...I am certain that a hard fork would have been done long ago to prevent such tactics, if it wasn't of extreme benefit to the owners of this platform. It's all just business in reality.

Thanks - I read your post, but I'm not sure how that idea would prevent reward pool abuse.. Wouldn't the extra visibility of a user's other posts just result in more eyes on those posts, without actually affecting posting and voting patterns much?
More eyes...more opportunity to make one's work more visible....more opportunity for a tip, as opposed to zero eyes....zero visibility...and zero opportunity to increase the payout.
I realize this could add power to @haejins everywhere to get more visibility for their work; but, they tend to just put all of their current posts in every article. So, I'm leaving them out of the equation.
As noted, I'm primarily interested in getting more visibility for everyone. As is, TRENDING is where the majority of attention is spotlighted; not to mention the rme/smh bot-buying.

Now this is the ultimate test. If Haejin´s tips would be valuable his followers should have made a shitload of money during the last 12 months. Enough money to power up and support him. What is it you think won't work? All of these posts are right before payout so when the rewards are removed, that is final.
Everyone has limited voting power. He has no more than me and I have no more than him. The goal isn't to completely remove his rewards, just take them down to a more reasonable level.
I don't evwn believe that the potential rewards he has on those posts will at least get to half the current value. There are a lot of people who would want to join you, but plenty of them who still care for their accounts visibility :))

In case ya'll don't know Bernie took it upon himself to flag all my rewards for posts that had nothing to do with him. I made a music album that was due to pay out a measly 40SBD and Benie killed it to prove a point.

Not really, the bulk of my rewards come from comments directly to authors on this site. They will read it whether the post is hidden by downvote or not. If they wonder why some idiot is following me around downvoting my genuine comments, I'll tell them.

Most people here on steemit, especially low rep + low power account but provided good contents need help from high rep people to stay on their ground.
But most high rep people never help them at all, instead high rep people prefer to pay bots to upvote their post themselves and get all the profits.
This situation is like, a homeless person asking for help from rich people, but rich people ignored them + left them to dead.
This is something I've been thinking for a while.Long term success of Steemit lies upon its members.But if newbies don't stick to the platform,simply because they can't make money,meanwhile they see bad and selfish whales raping the reward pool,a lot of them will leave.I do intend to change this,I mean as much as I can,and help minnows to grow.

If you want to avoid Steemit tranding page, I created notification app that will show up everytime an author that is active in his comment section writes a post. It is great way how to avoid whales on trading page and reward active authors.

As far as I know @berniesanders regularly gets mad about what he calls 'reward pool rape'. He has targeted @haejin since the account posts 10 posts a day and has an average reward around 200$. I do feel his posts are very similar and their aggregate value is hardly 2000$ per day or even per post. I bet it takes him a max of an hour to make one, he is being paid too much to make any such post.
When whales use their considerable stake to consolidate wealth it's basically bad for the network value of steem because the money is what draws and retains users mostly. If the concentration of token ownership is like the wealth distribution in the USD we have problems. Since generally our goal is decentralization of everything including money.

The system itself requires the members to decide what is and isn't moral. One whale is allowed to upvote his own posts to the tune of hundreds of dollars per post ten times a day; another whale is allowed to flag those posts into oblivion. This is the nature of the platform. It is very new and unusual.
OK, I understsand that, but let's not pretend neither Haejin nor Sanders represent the average steemit user. Or that this is really the biggest problem in the platform.
When you say that the system requires the member to decide what is and isn't moral, you mean the high SP users, not the masses. Sounds familliar...
I think that Haejin and Sanders represent themselves, not the "average steemit user", not "the masses" (whatever that means).
Those who have more stake in the platform are entitled to make more influential decisions. That's the nature of the platform. It doesn't make sense that those with less skin in the game should have more of a say.
Besides, there are other things to do on steemit other than care about these guys and what they do. The drama is interesting to me because the nature of the platform gives opinions actual weight and impact. It's like a social experiment where trolls can actually have power (but also responsibility). Other than that, I don't waste much time on this drama and it doesn't affect me or what I do.
I agree, but Sanders has repeated many times that he's doing this for the minnows and he keeps pushing everyone to flag this or that.
I've heard him say that he does it for fun and the benefit to minnows is a side effect. That's just me though, and I admittedly don't follow every word he (or anybody) says.

For every new idea out there, someone will always come along to abuse the system. It's so awesome to see people come together to not only stop the abuse when it's this glaring... but to get the benefits of that abuse taken away.
This is a true display of how strong a self governing platform like steem can be when people unite.

Your post has more than a 500$ reward, therefore you are still absorbing nearly 30% of the rewards you returned no? Your post has less than 100 words, 4 pictures, and yet it will pay you 1/3 of the rewards you claim to have returned to the pool... Seems contradictory
That's because you don't know how the rewards will be used.
I assume it will fuel your current endeavors. Such as posting about abuse and reward pool distribution, while many other posts are more relevant to the the bulk of steem's users. With the 550$ you could give 50 minnows a 10$ upvote, broader reward distribution is better for STEEM than flagging and consolidation of wealth.
Uh, dummy, flagging is the MOST board reward distribution. And again, these rewards will go to something worthwhile.

Flagging is not nearly as effective at rewarding quality as precisely distributed upvotes would. Supporting quality content works better than reducing poor content. An upvote is worth more to a minnow than your downvote means to abusers.

In case you haven't realized, the reward pool is limited. Having someone who easily takes 1-2% of it daily via self-voting is not a good thing. Get a few dozen whales like @haejin, and you will never earn anything unless you have 1 more SP than he does.
Unlike the man in question, @berniesanders actually delegates to projects on the platform. You just can't see it because the SP isn't coming from the account you are replying to.
