Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is therealone21, and I am a proud HIVE enthusiast and an early supporter of the game Golem Overlord. This post is a bit longer than what I plan for in the future, as I want to introduce myself as a player and outline the structure for my weekly updates.

I’ve been playing Golem Overlord for over a year, and it’s been amazing to watch the game evolve since its launch. While the early days were great, my focus is on the present and the future. One of the most critical aspects of the game is deciding on your build when acquiring the Golem Overlord Staff. Whether you go for an attack-focused build, a farming build, or the balanced route (upgrading all stats evenly), this decision carries significant consequences and rewards.

If you’re just starting out, my advice is simple: CHOOSE WISELY.

Equipment & Stats

Reaching my current equipment state has been no small feat—it took nearly nine months of consistent effort. For the past few months, I haven’t made many changes because I’m quite satisfied with my setup.

Here are the key stats I’ve prioritized and stacked:
• Energy Cooldown: 79%
• Claim Multiplier: 25%
• Chance to Prevent Repair on Failed Attack: 77%
• Shard Steal: 41%
• Max Energy: +20
• Claim Cooldown: 12%

With these combined stats, my energy recharges every 13 minutes. Over a full day (1,440 minutes), that adds up to 111 attacks. I typically go for long claims, which last 9 hours and give me 41 energy per cycle. This strategy has been instrumental in my growth and helped me secure a spot in the Top 50 on the Burn Leaderboard.

Recent Daily Rewards & Openings

In future posts, I’ll share the rewards I receive from the daily Vault crate (a perk of being a Golem VIP), along with any extra crates I open during the week / anything interesting worth mentioning!

To kick things off with a bang: On 12/15/2024, I had one of the luckiest pulls ever from a Vault crate!

My rewards included:
• Yixn Hair
• 3 Eldritch Golem Crates
• Enigma Stasis Conflux
• Abundant Banner

For those familiar with Golem Overlord, you’ll know just how rare and valuable these items are. A free daily crate containing a Yixn Hair? That’s the dream!

Conquest

With the recent update allowing players to open Eldritch Golem Vaults, I finally decided to open the 50 Vaults I had been saving.

Rather than list every single card I pulled, here are the highlights:
• Artifact Phantom
• Invaluable Colossus & Reaper
• 3 Other Invaluable Golems

The Artifact Golem is a standout because it grants access to all abilities—a massive advantage in Conquest mode, where lower-tier golems have limited abilities. I’ve been experimenting with strategies for Conquest and currently hold a 160-173 record. I’m determined to climb the Weekly Conquest Leaderboard in the near future!
