The metabolic cycle is not 24 hours. Full metabolic circle for protein is 72 hours plus and additional days for elderly because their metabolism is significantly slower. Full metabolic circle of fat is 3-4 weeks in average. And for carbs it is within a few hours to a couple of days.
Time of the near full absorption through the gut wall for fat and protein is 6 hours and for carbs 3 hours. The whole process of digestion can last anywhere from 24 to 72 hours.
We can eat so much of carbs without feeling anything, because body needs and treats it as a fuel, that's a primary source. They are also treated differently, because we have insulin that takes care of it. But, if you try to eat as equal caloric value in roast ribs, you will see the big difference.
People on carnivore diet can eat big portions of meat, but that's because they need some other things so portion really matters. Conversion of protein is pretty much average while they use fat as a primary energy source.
Vegans on the other hand, have to mind protein intake more, because when we cancel the bricks our body starts to shed less important parts in favor of internal organs and brain regeneration.
Not all omnivore diets are equally user-friendly. If we are going to find a perfect fit, then it is the best to follow the examples of long living healthy populations. None of these successful groups are either carnivores or vegans. They also, by the rule, eat significantly less than average population.
I eat during or just before the most active period of my day. I don't eat much or at all after 4PM. I don't eat same amount of food every day, or at the same time.
I eat very similarly as you described at the end of this post. I eat for fuel. Nice information.

This is the is the first time that I know the metabolic cycle of proteins and fats. So it is easy to absorbed carbs compare to proteins in terms of the number of hours.
I think I will try to become a Vegan for me to adjust more proteins compared to always eating foods with lots of carbs, maybe that's the reasons why I am a little bit fat right now.
Thank you for this kind of information and I learned a lot.
You are welcome.
I will try to find more interesting things.
I'll just be here as one of your avid reader.

This is insightful really for me. I will be reading again but this time much slower than I did the first time. I feel this could help me in my weight loss journey
Thank you.
Personally, I focus more on efficient energy distribution in the body, so that food doesn't overload but delivers the nutrients I need in a less metabolically expensive way. The body spends time and energy digesting and converting some compounds. If I can somehow avoid that I get more from less. Water and minerals also play a huge role. For some reason, I always mess up with water and drink far less than I need.
Interesting topic. Sometimes I skip dinner if my lunch is later in the day, after 4pm. However if I stay late somewhere around midnight I go in food frenzy mode and it's very hard not to take anything. But if I go for something sweet I will not sleep well at all.
It's individual habits I guess. For me it's balanced food from around the spectar. I've also noticed with skipping dinner I can easily regulate body weight.
Being awake late at night usually requires more battery juice lol. Instead of carbs eat something with extra fat ( if possible avoid saturated fats, they are horrible), it requires more to digest so it won't go to the storage and it will also make you sleepy.
If I stay awake late I do that with spicy leafy salads with bacon/avocado/eggs or a similar combination. Medium scarce portion. I sleep like a rock afterward and I didn't notice any increase in weight.
If I eat sugar, sweet stuff, or any sort of a big amount of carbs late, the result is the opposite and I feel very bad in the morning.
Ok ther is a lot infor here that I don´t know. I still will keep eating meet 😁
Aw, there is a lot of this and new finds just keep on coming.
I eat pretty much all types of food.
