A great struggle it was to get registered with GINAbot mainly to enable me get notifications on posts by my favourite authors. After 3 days, I can say that the bot is really good. My new challenge-how do I delete notifications?

@ginabot Is great. I call it my steemit alarm system. If you don't want notifications from a particular option simply go to ginabot on discord and type ..settings , it takes you to settings and there you delete or remove the notifications you do not want. No

A friend of mine introduced @ginabot to me few days ago and I love the configuration and notification that one can get using this bot.
Though I haven't tried to delete any notification but I think the same way that applicable to messages on discord should be the same approach to handle it.
There is no gain saying the fact that @ginabot is good. I have tried the method suggested by @zizymena to delete messages, but without success. My not being able to delete notifications is really giving me cause for concern. Thank you for your support.

I just started using the bot too, I realized I was missing a lot, because the notification just get you aware and updated.
It really is a wonderful thing. I’ve been using it for a while but been holding off on a review as I like to experience things for a while before I make a review.
What do you mean by delete notifications? If you are talking about all the notifications it pm you they just stay there you don’t delete those. Once you click on the pm and read them or "mark as read" it will remove the displayed number showing how many unread messages.
If you mean by going back into the settings to delete someone you are getting notifications from you can use ..set (make sure to only do this in pm with the bot as that is link to your private setting page). From in there you can just click on “del” button and make sure to hit.
There is also a blacklist user function. It however does not stop receiving all notifications from the person just most things.

The developers did a real excellent job here.
Probably the single most useful bot on steemit and practically for free! The best feature IMO is real-time key words tracking. You know exactly what's going on due to that!

@maryfavour seems stopping notifications is not what you meant. Once you get a notification and you open it, it automatically deletes from the phone surface and can only be assessed on ginabot on discord. It is really easy but then if you don't want notifications at all then you may want to deactivate your ginabot
