ONE OF OUR SHETLAND/FINNSHEEP EWES FINALLY GIVES BIRTH

in #ghsc6 years ago

Born on the 5th of July!

We've been expecting this, and today, it happened! While Monster Truck and I were working on the land, we heard a strange, high-pitched cry coming from the sheep pen. To our surprise, a tiny lamb was there next to Raspberry, her mother! Check this out!

OUR EXCITED VIDEO WHEN WE FIRST FOUND IT!

HEY THERE LITTLE ONE!

When Monster Truck and I heard the noise, we were curious to see what was making it. Much to our delight, we saw this tiny lamb next to its mother, hiding in the woods. It is so tiny and cute, I've even seen rabbits bigger than this little lamb!

Although it was very young and brand new, it was still able to walk around and follow its mother. Sights like this are such a blessing! The new life of a tiny creature is truly a sight to behold.

We think that this will be the only lamb that this ewe has for now, but we are also expecting our other Shetland/Finnsheep ewe, Dandelion, to lamb soon too! We'll keep you posted!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

This is so cool

oh , very nice and cute little baby, @banjo

tears form in my eyes Th-That is the meanest thing you have ever said to me...

You have the good stuff.
Homesteading is a blessing most of the time.
Keep on postin'

Dude, Baker creek and now sheep. Jealous, man! We've put our t-posts in and are going to run woven wire this summer. I want some hair sheep, the wife wants goats. We may end up with both...

What are you raising them for?

Edible lawnmowers that we can also sell, shear, and milk = both sheep and goats over here!

Too cute! It always amazes me that these new borns can be up and following their mothers right away! I guess it's necessary if they were to survive in the wild with all the predators. Looks nice and healthy! Do you keep the sheep for wool, mutton or is this a variety that you can milk?

Wool & mutton, but we may be able to milk them too!

Congratulations @papa-pepper on the New Addition to the Homestead. Cute Little Bugger.............

By the Way I believe you about the LARGE RABBITS.........

Cool, your sheep has grown again, hopefully this will be much more blessing for you.

wow they are beautiful.... (((😎)))

congratulations @papa-pepper you have got your pet descend again, they get crowded again, because little friend was born,☺️👍

Congratulations!! It looks so cute! Aren't animals amazing? They can walk right after they are born. We can't say that about humans :)

The happiness of the breeder is when the animals cattle. Increasing one or two in one birth is a wonderful gift. How nice to see your shetland give a bith. fortunally your garden is wide enough so they can move freely. He will grow bigger and healthier.
I have experience when goats give bith then get mastitis to die. This caused me to be responsible for the survival of the young goat by giving cow's milk.
I hope all your animal cattle will become healthier.

thank you @papa-pepper
Thank you Steemit
greetings from Indonesia

Animals are the closest creature to humans!!! I know the feeling right?

The baby lamp is so cute!

A cutie. Must be tough at times with all the names the animals have. Gonna have to write them down to remember them all. :-)

Somehow the @little-peppers know them all! LOL

Cool! Congratulations!

Congrats on the newest addition!
