Extra terrestrial stones-literally out of this World

Tecktites- 'the starborn stones'

Today I would like to talk about another passion of mine and that is crystals and today in particular i want to talk about extra terrestrial tecktites.

Let me explain. Traditional earth bound Crystals are formed slowly over many milenia and under huge and immense pressure very deep often mixed with gasses and or water/minerals and underground. Whereby tecktites are formed quite the opposite and almost instantaneously when an extra terrestrial object ie a meteorite manages to break through the Earths atmosphere and subsequently hits the surface of the planet with such a massive force that shrapnel of meteorite and Earth flies up into the surrounding atmosphere like a bomb hitting the ground.
Once the debry has reached its height velocity, the surrounding area is showered with red hot glassious type objects that rapidly cool on their re entry into the atmosphere and this is how tecktites are formed.

The first tecktite I want to show you is something called 'moldavite' which is my favourite. It comes from around Moravia in the Czech Republic, its hardness is around 5.5 to 6 and it landed maybe 15 million years ago. Farmers have traditionally unearthed these stones over the centuries after rain, and also after freshly ploughing a field, the stones could be seen glinting green on top of the Earth. They are considered one of the rarest tecktites and most specimens unearthed are around the 5gram mark anything around 25/30grams is considered museum grade and market price is maybe £10 a gram. It's a shame but over the years many fake pieces of moldavite arrived on the market from China so if you do feel drawn to a piece it's really worth sourcing from someone with connections to where it comes from. Most pieces of moldavite are a light translucent green when held to the light with a mottled pattern on the outside. When held in the hand they emit a fast pulse.

Some people when they connect with moldavite feel a flush go through their bodies. Because it is linked into a time of major upheavals on the Earth, many folks beleive that when they align their energy with that of moldavite it quickly aligns them with their path in life, and many cases of increased synchronicity have been reported when these stones are worn or we have them around us. A pretty cosmic stone for sure.

The second tecktite I would like to introduce you to is something called Lybian dessert glass or Lybian Gold tecktite. This tecktite is a powerful fire element stone that was formed in the same way as moldavite except as it happened to land in the Northern Sahara dessert in Lybia. The colour of these nuggets are a beautiful translucent sandy gold colour with a hardness of 5 To 6 and it's crystal system is amorphous. These are very rare and specimens found are much larger than moldavites. But little have come onto the market over the years as not many expeditions go that far into the dessert, it was said they were found by the nomadic people with their wandering camels and then traded as they travelled along. They are very prized by jewellery makers and many are carved into scarab bettle shapes and carried as amulets or protection. The scarab is fabled to be able to go backwards and forward into the afterlife.

When both of these extra terrestrial stones are held together they emit a very powerful protectional energy field around the person. They are great at enhancing the strength of ones will and the ability to manifest extraordinary and mystical syncronicities.
Meditation and personal ritual performed around these two tecktites will be strongly enhanced and very protected.
