As of the moment, you may see a name/pictureless cards in Genesis League Goals. The primary reason behind that is because the contract with MLS has expired, so we no longer can use player names and images. This isn't a big issue, as the team can just create AI-generated images and names. Most important is the stats to be retained.

I'd cite a couple of things I have noticed ever since I started playing this beautiful game. For me, there just needs a couple of tweaks in catering all of the easy-mid issues and I think the game is playable again (attractive for users).

• Player names/images - this one should be the priority of the team.
• Bots - when we play rank and don't find anyone playing, we're matched with bots/computer generated. I think they are too much overpowered, it is not playable.
• Player level penalty - you'll get GLX reward penalty if you proceed to a higher rank (and your team doesn't qualify). I think this needs to get removed as matching against high level players is already a disadvantage. This makes some users to intentionally lose in matches.
• I think they need to re-consider the formula for rewards.

But overall, the game is playable. There has been some tournaments organized @khan.dayyanz / @drzoom that you can participate and you'll get GLX, Packs, Cards for rewards.

What to Expect?

They will be releasing new updates soon as they plan to replace the current state of the game. The current version is a 7 v 7, not the ideal 11 vs 11 type of football. This is what they are considering, they will be delivering:

• An 11-vs-11 type of football but managerial. Finally the football manager game that we are all anticipating.
• They will utilize the current state of cards, there might be some changes but they will announce more.

• A Prediction Market - it's a GLX stake-based voting, users will be allowed to predict games (with odds) and in return, they will get GLX if their predictions are correct. Every users can participate in the prediction game, but the rewards will based on the amount of GLX you staked.
• Soon, we'll see all types of Sports games that we can participate. Personally, I'd love to see Football games in Europe. Imagine how it can attract a lot of people once they know this one.

• A revamped version of the game - Once the above two gets delivered. The promised revamped version, also knowns as GLS V2, will then be developed.
• I'm not sure how this one will turn out yet, as I'm stoked on the two above first. Something we have to look forward.
