Torcal de Antequera

Hola amigos de Hive, Hi Hive friends,

Hace un par de semanas, unos amigos nos idearon un gran plan. Una excursión por el Torcal de Antequera.
Os puedo confirmar que es uno de los sitios más espectaculares que he visto. Es un paraje natural de 1771 que se encuentra entre Antequera y Villanueva de la Concepción y es desde el año 2016 Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

A couple of weeks ago, some friends came up with a great plan for us. An excursion through the Torcal de Antequera.
I can confirm that it is one of the most spectacular places I have seen. It is a natural site from 1771 that is located between Antequera and Villanueva de la Concepción and has been a World Heritage Site since 2016.

Tenéis que tener en cuenta si queréis ir el hacerlo temprano. Nosotros llegamos a las once de la mañana y ya estaba todo el aparcamiento lleno, por lo que tienes que dejar el coche en un parking más abajo, subir andando e ir en autobús hasta llegar.
No suena mal, el problema es la vuelta. Después de estar un buen rato andando, si no esperas el autobús tienes que bajar andando y para nosotros que no estamos acostumbrados a hacer rutas, se nos hizo complicado, ya que no era un camino tan fácil y tenías que ir campo abajo.

You have to take into account if you want to do it early. We arrived at eleven in the morning and the parking lot was already full, so you have to leave the car in a parking lot further down, walk up and take the bus until you get there.
It does not sound bad, the problem is the return. After walking for a long time, if you are not waiting for the bus you have to walk down and for us who are not used to doing routes, it became complicated, since it was not such an easy path and you had to go down country.

Puedes elegir la ruta verde o la ruta amarilla. Ambas se encuentran en algunas partes del recorrido.

You can choose the green route or the yellow route. Both are in some parts of the route.

La ruta verde que es la más sencilla en un principio, son 45 minutos, pero tardas más porque al final, te vas parando, haciendo fotos, admirando todo lo que te vas encontrando y al final terminas hablando con otros grupos, que como tú no pueden dejar de sorprenderse de lo que se puede ver allí.
Era muy gracioso ver a los niños comentando a qué se parecían algunas piedras, ya que por la forma y debido al relieve, podías ver con imaginación, caras, animales...
Puedes encontrar yacimientos arqueológicos, fósiles y algo que nos llamó especialmente la atención fueron la cantidad de buitres que te encontrabas por la zona.
Iban a lo suyo... ¡menos mal!

It was very funny to see the children commenting on what some stones looked like, since due to the shape and due to the relief, you could see with imagination, faces, animals ...
You can find archaeological sites, fossils and something that especially caught our attention was the number of vultures that you found in the area.
They were going about their thing ... thank goodness!
