....... to intrude negatively on our lives at any time or situation on any given day. It comes out of the blue not invited and definitely not welcomed. Murphy's Law arrives unanounced and people have no control over it. All we can do is run with it, unfortunately we eventually learn this after experiencing a number of uninvited interruptions over the years. Like the car battery failing as one has to drive to an important meeting or interview or the oven not working as the guests ring the door bell. Or the morning one has to be at the hospital early for day surgery and the automatic gate decides not to open!
We all have stories to tell.
How do you handle the interruption to your well planned schedule?
Do you get upset, distressed, anxious and just keep trying to get control back by making contingency plans? Or do you run with it understanding that these things happen as you calmly call to explain your no-show or late arrival. Do you dial Uber Eats for dinner and calmly open the gate manually to drive through it to get to the hospital on time.
Yes, understanding and flexibility are the keys in dealing with a Murphy's Law moment. Maybe you have learned to just be accepting and patient because there is nothing you can do. Expect this wisdom to come with age after lots of Murphy's Law situations interrupting well laid plans.
Maybe spiritual and religious individuals may explain unforeseen interruptions as the universe or God helping us develop wisdom, acceptance and calmness. 'It is as it is,' they say. There are lessons to learn in order to grow and evolve.
However which way you explain and deal with Murphy's Law, it would be really good that once you develop the ability to stay calm with the unexpected, Murphy's Law would just stop taking place.
But, sadly this is not the case, you see it would seem there appears to be a lot more lessons to learn.
Wishing everyone the best of luck in coping with Murphy's Law moments
Cheers and Blessings
