RE: What Do You Do When You Can't Have A Real Garden? You Make Use Of Pots!

in #gardening7 years ago

Sorry about those that didn't make it. At least you have survivors and they look healthy. We do container planting, too but it's hard to make them survive with the extreme heat and dust (house beside a highway). Our onion leeks have been dying and even those resilient plants like lemon grass end up being on the dry side despite constant watering. Ever tried vertical gardening, too? Or the hanging pots?

Sort:

I haven't tried vertical gardening no, and I have no hooks for hanging plants. Maybe next year I will purchase some sort of stand to hang stuff from.

Yeah being becides a busy road would definitely make things more difficult.

Awesome! Hopefully you can show us more pictures then. I lost hope here. Would probably make it a goal to move (whenever that would be). Good luck with the gardening!

I will do an update later in the season for this years plants. Of course I will continue to post in subsequent years as well.
