Good night steemian lover ... !!!
Tonight I invite all of you steemian to glance briefly at the photo I shared the following.
Rice fields with rice that began to appear, are the things that farmers have been waiting for. This means that soon the grain will turn yellow and can be harvested. A result of hard work planting rice for about 110 days. Rice that began to spawn is also the most awaited seed eater birds. The waiting results or the results of their search for food ingredients for the survival of bird habitat. So farmers and birds will be hostile at this time. Rice that has begun to bear fruit must be kept extra tight from pests. On land must be guarded from a flock of mice, and in the air guarded from a flock of seed-eating birds. From morning to evening, rice farmers will continue to monitor their rice fields. Various methods were carried out such as installing scarecrows (human sculptures from grass placed in the middle of the rice fields) or installing ropes that crossed the top of the rice fields along with the tufts. Can be a rope tassel or can-can hanger that can ring when the rope is pulled by the rice field guards. In some places farmers also have to shout in the middle of rice fields, or beat used cans. All is done to dispel or drive away birds that land in the fields and eat rice grains.
The used tin can that was caught in the wooden pole was not a talisman to fertilize rice but a tool that when shaken by a pillar, the explosive sparrows dared to go down. Inside the old tin contained clashing gravel and made a loud noise as the wooden pole was shaken. This is a simple tool to drive sparrows.
