How to grow a dill ?
Originates is from Asia and the Mediterranean. It forms rooted roots with a depth of 15-20 cm, so even the transplantation of young plants can be problematic. To avoid dandelion problems, make it until the plant is less than 15 cm. At a dill height of 1 meter. The leaves are fine peres and very aromatic. Blooms with small yellow flowers in July and August. Suitable for every kitchen balcony.
Location:
The ideal place to grow dill is a sunny, semi-shady place. He does not like the air currents, so choose a wind-protected place.
Irrigation:
Irrigation should be moderate, and you should never allow the soil substrate to dry completely. Water retention is also undesirable. So make a good drainage of the container, where you will be growing dill. It is not torn.
Care:
You can sow the seeds straight into the soil in April. The vessel should be at least 20 cm deep due to the deep roots that develop dill. The soil substrate is clay-humus garden soil and sand in equal proportions.
The aromatic petals can be harvested constantly and the seeds are harvested in August / September. The most serious pest problems can be with the aphids.
Propagation:
Through seeds in April - May at temperatures above 8 degrees. The seeds are covered with a thin layer of soil. As mentioned above, the container should be at least 20 cm deep. Young germinated plants should be diluted as soon as possible to avoid root problems at a later stage.
Gardener's advice: Sow the dill between other plants.

Stay positive and many smiles !!!
Growing your own dill is a great idea!! If everyone had a little garden outside their house, or even on the windowsill of their apartment, we could all enjoy the delicious taste of fresh herbs and spices.
Fresh herbs give a better taste of our food :)
I'm thinking of adding a little row of spices in the flower bed outside my bedroom window and putting some dill in it. You've inspired me!
Go for it :)
