RE: Using Dirty Fish Tank or Aquarium water to fertilize your plants

in #gardening7 years ago

Thanks for such a wonderful post. I've learnt to look at the ' old stinking water ' with a new perspective - a cost saving perspective especially for the long term. I wanted to also humbly add that, just as the water is a good by product of the aquarium, any unfortunate incidence of a dead fish could also be taken advantage of, just like the aquarium water, in that the fishes can be buried in the plant soil and that can serve a good source of nutrients to the soil, and since they are buried, there will be little or no odor coming from them. This practice of using all the by products of the fish pond makes its waste a liquid gold. Thanks
