This morning I was able to get a stream of shots of this honeybee walking around the squash flower. Not until I was editing this together did I see the ladybug in there as well. It's great to see all the pollen coating the bee's back.

Hah! Great find and great photos. I love when I see bees with their back legs completely coated in pollen. How is your squash doing? Any fruit yet?
Oh yes the squash are producing. I have harvested 40 lbs so far but expect to harvest about 800 pounds by the end of the season.
Wowzas!!! That's amazing. Here I am cheering on my one lonely cucumber plant hahaha!
Congrats! 1 lowly cucumber plant can lead to a winters' worth of pickles. Good luck and I hope they grow well!
Thanks so much...at least some of my other veggies are doing well this year. I am hoping to move to more land in the next couple of years so i can really expand the garden. :)
great shot!
