Another one without the tag. I manage to find one online with that was signed Echeveria Affinis, but if I google it, I see all kinds of dark ones. Another name that pops is Echeveria multicaulis, but it looks somehow different.
So it is not sure until I am sure :)
It is a rather small Echeveria with very compact, bright green rosette. It is the size of a regular Sempervivum. Most Echeverias can grow pretty large rosettes. This one will stay small, compact, but branch and grow like a cute little bush. See? There are already side shoots on this one.
And of course I love those red tips! Such a nice contrast with the fresh, light green.
It will bloom. Yes it will. With a regular Echeveria-like flowers. But that is not what I have it for. The flowers are a bonus. I like the plant as it is.
And that was the last part.
In case you missed it, here is the other 6:
#1 Echeveria Purpusorum
#2 Avonia Papyracea
#3 Aeonium Kiwi
#4 Sempervivum arachnoideum
#5 Mammillaria elongata Copper King
#6 Aeonium arboreum rubrolineatum
What you have there is a hybrid of Echeveria and Sedum, called a Sedeveria. That one's name is Sedeveria Letizia. I love the way the tips colour up when it gets enough sun. Just be careful with too much sun, it can burn quite easily, too.
Great plants you got there!
Now that I would never guess! Yayyyy It is my first Sedeveria then :) (Must go change the tag now)
I knew you will know :p
Thanks, I love them all and they will look nice with the other ones.
I'm the Steemit succulent-nerd :p although I don't know much about cacti except that I am good at killing them.
I'm just happy to find people who share my obsessions.
Okay then. I will probably have more questions with time :)
I like both (+ orchids) and try not to kill any. @andrijana is the cactus-nerd.
I have a few orchids that I manage to keep alive, to my great surprise and I am getting better with cacti. I will check @andrijana out
You have e convinced me that I need succulents In my life! I'm waiting for my order to arrive...it's so exciting!
Of course you need them! They are so pretty and easy to grow.
What did you get? :p
A random assortment, the grower seems really helpful. They shipped today. I'll do a post when they arrive. But look.....
My orchid is thriving and even has a new leaf! Thank you so much for teaching me about orchids!
Oh! And it looks pretty and shiny :D
Looking good :)) New roots and new leaves are a good sign.
It gives me hope that it may bloom again. I couldn't have done it without you! I would have killed it for sure!
Awww glad I could help. It will need to grow a bit. The flower spikes normally show up from the second leaf down (on each side) so it is good if it has at least 3-4 leaves.
Keep it in good light, but not direct sun. It will do fine :)
I adore those who can remember all that names )))
Me too :D That's why I put tags in them so I don't forget :p
You've captured some really great details here on these plants. All the way down to the little tiny hairs on the leaves! The colours of these plants are really nice too!
Thank you! They are such cool plants to photograph.
This looks like common houseleek(Sempervivum tectorum) to me! 🙂
Almost :) It grows differently though and has different flowers.
I have some Sempervivums too :)
I love his 2 colors. I'm waiting to see her beautiful flowers!
The colours are great! Hopefully it will get more red in the summer or fall.
Ooohhhh... I've seen many of these, but no idea what they are! Lol... Love the edging in reddish... And a baby too! Awwwww.... 😊
Send them over! Send them all :D
The little one is so cute... hope it grows fast.
Hehehe... yaaa... you can have a nursery for all of them and all the babies! 😄
Yes please! :D
