For posterity, I am storing in the blockchain photos of tomatoes on the vine in October in the Midwest continental U.S. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like it used to be colder in October. In all fairness, I did plant the tomatoes late (in April/May), so perhaps they are just now hitting their stride. So I can compare next year, here are 2 photos from the garden this afternoon.

Vine is dying, but still has some green limbs.
