For several months I kept the suspense up about this potato experiment. There were a few other updates here on Steemit about the project. Today I made it FINAL! This experiment is over. So... how did those spuds do?

I will have to do a video on my potato harvest. I'm not holding out a lot of hope for my crop this year. The tops didn't look very healthy at any point in the season. Hope you get a crop from the 3 good ones.
when I seen you get the clay pot my first thoughts was if they did poorly in the tower wont they dod just as bad in this pot ? then I thought about it this pot is deeper has nothing over it and it will be in a different location :D Good luck getting more then four spuds this time round :) thanks for sharing
Hey Blake....I still have my cinder block potatoes going. Almost everything has died back, I probably could harvest them but just have not had the time yet. If I get that done over the next few days I will come back to this post and show you what kind of harvest I was able to get.
Blake, @daddykirbs, I harvested the potatoes last night. As you can see below I did get some but not as many as I did last year. It has been a bit dry lately. I believe if I would have watered more often I might have had a bigger yield. Lessons learned, you should always learn something from year to year.
Sharing to show an experiment!
Apparently the vertical system didn't work out as well as it could have, but like you said, the hot weather probably didn't help them much.
I just started experimenting this year with growing potatoes in containers, so I don't know what to expect from mine.
This was my first year growing potatoes, I used the fabric pots that youboften use, unfortunately I did not get the results I thought I would, but I did get about 16lbs of potatoes which was only slightly more lbs than I originally planted 🤷🏼♀️ Not sure what I did wrong but I will try again next year 😀
