Introduction: Hi! My Name is Cat and I am new to Steemit!

Hello. My name is Cat, and I am excited to be joining the Steemit community. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, supermom, gardener, furniture refinisher, soap maker, who enjoys the outdoors, discussing politics, financial market chatter. I live out in the Great Northwest (Washington State) out in the secluded countryside on 10 acres, run two small businesses, try to be everything to everybody in my family, involved in my local grange, try to be as self sufficient as I can here on our 10 acres because I believe its important to know how to take care of yourself if times get tough. I know a lot about preserving food, sewing, all things crafty. I raise chickens, used to raise horses and cows, but no longer, so I can help people with questions of a variety of subjects.
