If you follow my blog, you know that Jacob and I did a project where we painted some flower and plant pots for mom. In addition to the flowers, we also planted a cherry tomato plant as well as a jalapeno plant. Here is that original link:

We then did not do a great job of maintaining them, so they were struggling and not looking so good. Here was the update link:

Since they were not doing well, we decided to plant the vegetables in a more permanent location against our back wall with some other plants, which all get regular water from our sprinkler system… in other words, we ditched the plant pots we made (now sitting idle in the garage again) and made life easier on ourselves.
I am pleased to report that the plants are now doing great! Spring is upon us, and we are already getting some ripe cherry tomatoes, which Jacob has enjoyed picking for mom. We also have a handful of jalapenos growing, and one was harvestable yesterday, so while Mom was making chicken enchiladas for dinner, so we gave her a jalepeno to add to a few of the enchiladas for those who wanted to spice theirs up a bit (like me 😇). Gardening has been a fun thing for Jacob (and yummy for us all) and he has enjoyed watching the plants grow!

Yes I remember perfectly @brian.rrr, the project in which we painted some pots of flowers and plants for your wife, this is perfect for you and you fall as a glove, since you are lovers of silver, nature and the outdoors . The plants are very important for us and I would say that in all households around the world people have plants in their homes, there are some who have only one but how important they are. Here at home there are several plants and there were even some that also gave vegetables, we had one of chives and one of green cilantro. It is good to have plants at home, but without plants that give edible vegetables as is your case, it is fantastic because when it comes to taking a vegetable that is ready and is going to cook, it is cooking with a fresh vegetable that grew in our same house and under our care. I think it's great that you have cherry tomato plants and a jalapeño plant, these are undoubtedly two ingredients that give any food a spectacular taste and smell. They look very nice and fresh tomatoes, they are perfect for cooking. I hope your plants keep growing and maybe later you have other plants that give you other vegetables like paprika or pumpkin. Hello my friend how are you? this weekend I was not much around here, I took it to rest a bit almost always I do it to rest in the week I work a lot.
Now I did not know much that you and Jacob planted I think that when I was still new here but I see they did a great job all is trial and error the good thing is that they could find the way they had a nice harvest surely the food was very good with food cool

I see that Jacob does a great job just like you with those jalapenos and those cherry tomatoes, I like how jalapeños look when you cut them very fresh, that is what gives a delicious flavor to food, it is good to be able to have some vegetables there to the hands and frescoes
that's great, they look very colorful, so they go very well, maybe the pots did not have good watering or some lack of oxygen, but I'm glad they have a better place to plant, I like that you include your little one in these activities, is a way to instill love for nature and is nice as he chooses tomatoes to his mother, congratulations.
I'm a down south country boy from/in North Carolina and I must say that those plants look very good. I grew up with large garden of about half an acre in our backyard.
